The umbrellas are light gray, or white, and crafted from folded paper, giving the appearance of origami. They have a slightly pointed, umbrella-like shape. 
Metal, likely silver or stainless steel, ear wires connect to the umbrella structures. Ball-shaped, dark blue decorative elements are affixed to the bottom of each earring.
